Founded by women with over 20 years of experience combined, Embody seeks to provide coaching concepts that not only give you science-backed training and nutrition protocols, but also the tools and support you need to grow and progress.
Consistency can be fostered through a supportive and collaborative environment which is why Embody strives to emphasize community to help each other thrive and achieve their goals! If we establish trust with one another to help build each other up rather than tear each other down, we can put collaboration over competition.

Embody’s vision is to create a training facility/gym with an inclusive and welcoming environment. Embody provides high level programming for general strength training, competitive powerlifting, conditioning, and body recomposition and nutrition. Our goal is to not only help support your training goals, but we want to support each other with fitness and wellness habits and practices that are sustainable, long-lasting, and that WORK.

Julia Schaefer + Laura Su
In a world filled with information overload, especially when it comes to nutrition, fitness, and body image, our aim is to empower our clients with knowledge, enabling them to make informed choices and understand the profound impact certain foods have on their bodies.
how it started
I (Julia) entered the fitness industry over 15 years ago with an unwavering curiosity and passion for all things wellness related. While the path has been ever-evolving and different than anticipated, it has led to experiences that have created a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Laura’s business began from need of income but slowly turned into more than just a business; it became a place where friendships were fostered, community was established, and a supportive environment of women could gather together to build each other up, show others what was possible, and to encourage each other that no one’s journey was less than another’s.
Laura connected with me when she was searching for a place to build her own business. Recognizing that every person’s health journey is unique, our roles as a trainer and coach are to equip others with the precise tools necessary to achieve their goals.
While many trainers can create challenging workouts, we differentiate ourselves by providing clients with the vital resources and realistic wellness habits to conquer self-sabotaging tendencies. It’s a delicate balance.
Together, Laura and I have embarked on a long-term approach to health, guiding you towards sustainable results and a renewed sense of well-being.
Over the past ten years, I have been the sole owner of Aspire Athletics. While I have been very grateful for all of the knowledge acquired and opportunities presented, I know that it is time for a new beginning. Laura has proven to be one of the hardest working people I have ever met, and I could not imagine having anyone else as a business partner, friend, and confidant. We are ready to combine forces and build a community that will last the ages and empower everyone it reaches.

our commitment
Embody Strength and Wellness was founded through a desire of creating a community that encourages collaboration and growth as well as providing science-backed methods of training and nutrition. The fitness world tends to be black-and-white, all-or-nothing; we aim to provide a paradigm that considers the nuances. While many coaches and trainers can provide training programs and workouts, we want to help others by providing tools and resources that will help make their fitness journey sustainable. And we believe that a good gym community helps promote long-term consistency and results even more!

You can certainly bring your own equipment, though you probably won’t need it! Most members bring a water bottle, headphones and maybe a personal yoga mat.

Depending on what type of membership you have, the following amenities are included: massage sessions, recovery room credits, classes, towel service and shower access.

Ability to book access to the Recovery Room to utilize compression boots, body tempering, and sauna (TBA).

M-F: 5 AM to 7 PM
Saturday: 7 AM to 4 PM
Sunday: 7 AM to 2 PM

We have a parking lot with FREE parking located directly in front of the building. There is also street parking available nearby.
